- name major tourist sites in and around the center of Moscow
- say in what century or in what year things happened
- give a biographical sketch of yourself or another person
- understand a text about the life of the painter Mikhail Vrubel
- use expressions that will help you navigate public transportation
- use compass points to describe a place's location
- say where objects are in a room (in front of / behind / between / above / under / next to)
To achieve these outcomes, you will learn this information about the language:
- genitive plural forms of nouns and adjectives
- use of the genitive singular and plural with counting and quantity expressions
- some comparative and superlative forms of adjectives and adverbs
- verbs connected with biography (being born, growing up, studying at, getting married, dying, etc.)
